Overview Job Summary *** $6,000 Annual Location Stipend *** Rotor experience needed for this location as you will be working on an EC135. Responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, inspections, and alterations of company‑operated aircraft and articles as assigned in accordance with Air Methods’ policies and procedures. Ensures company operational goals and objectives are met, while guaranteeing all aircraft maintenance documentation is executed in compliance with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, company policies and procedures, and applicable maintenance manuals. Sewell is an unincorporated community in Gloucester County in southern New Jersey. It’s part of Washington Township and sits roughly 20 miles southeast of Philadelphia, making it a common commuter area for the Philly metro region. Responsibilities Performs inspections and repairs of aircraft and components in accordance with maintenance procedures, airworthiness directives, service bulletins, service letters, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations. Upon installation or removal of any component or assembly, verifies by physical inspection or markings that the part number and serial number match the documentation. Ensures all aircraft maintenance documentation complies with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, company policies and procedures, and applicable maintenance manuals to specific chapters. Actively participates in the continuous improvement phase (level 4) of the company’s Safety Management System (SMS) and is familiar with SMS policies, processes, and procedures. Maintains work area clean and professional. Corrects compliance or safety issues when directed by senior staff. Advises the Pilot in Command of any maintenance issues that would take an aircraft out of service. Validates or confirms data in the Status Report concerning aircraft being worked on. Requests aviation parts and supplies to maintain an adequate inventory for operational readiness. Performs other duties as assigned. Provide timely on‑call availability during nights, weekends, and holidays if necessary. Maintain regular scheduled attendance. Spend 25‑50% of time traveling. Travel periodically in support of Part 135 operations and company objectives. Must live within an hour of the base. Qualifications Education & Experience High school diploma or GED and 2–5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination. Factory airframe/power plant schools preferred, active/current A\&P required. FAR 135 operations preferred. Skills Electrical troubleshooting and refined vibration‑balancing. Sheet metal and composite repair procedures. Ability to read and understand documents such as 337s, Service Bulletins, ADs, etc. Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced, constantly changing environment. Team player with professional attitude. Flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on‑call rotation. Efficient use of electronic or paper‑based manuals and vendor data. Ability to learn and use the company’s ERP system (Ramco). Strong communication skills. Creative problem‑solving during troubleshooting. Computer Skills Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Ramco experience preferred. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations FAA A\&P license in good standing.
