Order PickerThe Order Picker works in the Copperfield Distribution Center, picking and preparing items for shipment by performing the following duties to safety, quality and productivity standards. This role plays a critical part in ensuring order accuracy and customer satisfaction.Essential FunctionsAccurately pick products for assigned orders using an RF scanner gun. This includes scanning product locations, verifying product types, and confirming quantities.Follow designated pick paths and become familiar with warehouse layout and inventory.Operate, or be willing to train on, an order picker or high-reach truck to retrieve items stored on higher shelves.Communicate inventory concerns, discrepancies, or shortages to the supervisor and record them in the shared computer worksheet.Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure equipment is in proper working condition. Temperature is varied to the temperature outside due to open dock doors.Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds unassisted. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
