Medical (Physiotherapist)

Position Highlights Hospital Based Outpatient setting. EMR integrated with all Central Maine Healthcare providers. Practice hours: weekdays, 7:00 – 5:30. Individualized patient care, one‑on‑one sessions. No double booking or dovetailing; therapist‑driven schedule. New graduate Physical Therapists welcome. Responsibilities Provides medically prescribed physical therapy services to evaluate, treat, and restore function while improving mobility, reducing pain, and preventing disability. Delivers patient‑centered care in accordance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and evidence‑based practices. Performs patient evaluations and physical therapy assessments. Develops and implements individualized treatment plans. Provides therapeutic interventions for rehabilitation and functional improvement. Monitors patient progress and adjusts treatment plans as needed. Educates patients and families on treatment plans and recovery goals. Documents evaluations, treatments, and patient outcomes accurately.Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams. Maintains compliance with regulatory, licensing, and patient safety standards. Qualifications Bachelor/​Master’s/​Doctorate/​Certificate degree in Physical Therapy. Current state Physical Therapy license. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certificate. Employment Details Employment Status: Full‑time. Shift: Days.
