Materials Management Coordinator- Cath Lab

This role plans, organizes, manages and controls activities related to operating room inventory management. Education High school diploma or equivalent. Work Experience 5 years of experience in an inventory management or customer focused role in healthcare materials management. OR 3 years’ experience in an inventory management or customer focused role in healthcare materials management with a bachelor’s degree. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Knowledge of operating room supplies/medical products and computerized inventory systems. Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally. Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to manage a pre-programmed database. Strong analytical skills. Ability to be self-directed and manage major projects with limited supervision. Ability to work variable hours. Job Duties Develops and maintains an effective supply management system. Provides effective management of processes for OR supply, inventory control and receiving. Ensures proper implementation and maintenance of the Lawson Supply Management System as it pertains to the OR. Ensures proper maintenance of the supply database and preference cards within SIS. Performs other related duties as required. Other Responsibilities Remains knowledgeable on current federal, state and local laws, accreditation standards or regulatory agency requirements that apply to the assigned area of responsibility and ensures compliance with all such laws, regulations and standards.
