Registered Nurse Cvicu

Position Overview Provide specialized nursing care in an 8-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) focused on post-operative recovery from complex cardiovascular surgeries. Work with advanced cardiac support devices and procedures, including hemodynamic monitoring. Implement and monitor patient care plans, communicate patient conditions, and serve as a primary coordinator for multidisciplinary care. Assess discharge planning needs in collaboration with the healthcare team. Responsibilities Deliver direct nursing care following organizational policies and protocols. Note and execute physician and nursing orders accurately. Coordinate patient care and discharge planning effectively. Qualifications & Skills Current licensure as a Registered Nurse from the Alabama Board of Nursing. Certification in BLS and Advanced Life Support within specified timeframes. Diploma from an accredited nursing program. Additional Information Multiple shift options available, including full-time night shifts.
