Position Summary

We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Family Medicine physician to join our growing independent medical practice in Commerce, Georgia. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced clinician with 2-5 years post-residency practice to establish themselves in a patient-centered setting while enjoying operational autonomy and strong community partnerships.

**  Eligible for significant student loan repayment programs due to rural location **

Position Details

• Full-time, permanent position

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, evidence-based primary care to patients across the lifespan
• Manage acute and chronic diseases including hypertension, diabetes, COPD, and coronary artery disease
• Perform preventive health screenings, wellness exams, and health maintenance counseling
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests; coordinate specialist referrals
• Maintain detailed, accurate electronic health records
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Participate in continuous quality improvement and practice development

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency program
• Board certification or eligibility by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM)
• Valid, unrestricted Georgia medical license (or ability to obtain within 60 days)
• Current DEA registration
• Clean NPDB report and references

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-5 years of clinical experience post-residency
• Experience in outpatient primary care settings
• Familiarity with AdvancedMD EHR system
• Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based medicine
