Martens Ace Hardware is looking for friendly, energetic Retail Sales Associates to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our brand—greeting customers, providing product knowledge, driving sales, and creating a positive shopping experience that keeps people coming back.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers in a warm, professional manner the moment they enter the store.
• Actively listen to customer needs and provide knowledgeable product recommendations and solutions.
• Maintain store appearance by stocking shelves, recovering the sales floor, and ensuring displays meet visual standards.
• Assist with inventory processes, including receiving shipments, pricing, and cycle counts.
• Uphold company policies on customer service, loss prevention, and safety.
• Collaborate with teammates to meet daily sales and operational goals.
• Handle customer questions and concerns with a positive, solution-oriented attitude.

Requirements & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive, outgoing personality with a genuine desire to help people.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic math skills and comfort using technology (POS systems, tablets, etc.).
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25–50 lbs as needed.
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
