Seasonal Medical Officer (part-time)

The Thomas Jefferson Foundation that owns and operates Monticello, a world-renowned historic attraction with over 300,000 guests per year, seeks a part-time Seasonal Medical Officer. This position will provide first-aid medical response for Foundation employees and guests through the months of May 2026 - October 2026.

The successful candidate must have demonstrated experience in providing first aid and emergency medical care. You must be able to use PC and tablet to write, submit, and file reports and document information. In addition, you must be able to work independently while exercising sound judgment and be able to remain calm and keep others calm in emergency situations. You will be required to obtain and maintain certifications in Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED, BLS for the Healthcare Provider, & Virginia State EMT-B or NREMT-B.

Candidates must have a proven history of dependability and punctuality as it relates to employment, must possess a valid Virginia driver's license, must be able to lift and carry up to fifty (50) pounds, climb stairs, bend and squat and work in restricted/small spaces.
