As a Security Guard Full Time Driver Patrol in Tacoma, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer at a dynamic tech and telecommunications location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support access awareness across the site while representing a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that values people, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and contractor access as directed, and report security-related issues, maintenance concerns, and/or suspicious activity to the appropriate contacts.
• Support day-to-day operations by documenting incidents, communicating with site personnel, and following post orders for changing conditions across the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• 2+ years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
