Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Wound Care Nurse (RN or LPN) to join our team! As a Wound Care Nurse, you will play a crucial role in our team-oriented environment, providing high-quality care to our residents while promoting wound healing and preventing complications. Responsibilities

Act as a liaison between the Wound Specialist Physician and the nursing staff
Participate in the development and achievement of Wound Care Program and objectives
Provide educational programming and staff development functions
Collaborate with an Interdisciplinary Team to encompass all aspects of care
Perform wound assessments, treatments, and follow-ups as ordered by the physician
Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans for each assigned resident

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
Must possess current Wound Care and CPR certifications
Minimum of one (1) year of Wound Care experience required, (2) years preferred
Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a RN or LPN in the state of practice
