Position Begins: Once trained

Position Summary:

Nurture a positive and respectful relationship with other team members
Support corporation decisions and direction relative to matters of policy and administrative directives.
Demonstrate ability to deal with sensitive issues in a tactful and professional manner.
Address concerns and other suggestions in an appropriate and confidential manner.

Responsibilities:

Safely transport students from designated pick-up/drop-off spots.
Keep order and discipline on the bus.
Perform full pre-trip/post-trip inspection of the vehicle.
Maintain a clean bus inside/outside.
Maintain and turn in all pertinent paperwork in a timely manner.
Interact with school employees, parents and community in a professional manner.
Knowledge of federal, state, and School Board rules, regulations, and policies related to driving a school bus.
Attend required safety meeting.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Pass pre-employment drug test.
At least 21 years of age.
Ability to pass Driver Performance Standards & Measurements.
Pass a Department of Transportation Physical Exam.
