Logistics/Warehouse Adjunct

About the Role Tri-County Technical College is seeking a dynamic, industry-experienced professional to serve as an Adjunct Instructor for our Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC) certification programs. This role focuses on delivering high-quality instruction for the Certified Logistics Associate (CLA) and Certified Logistics Technician (CLT) credentials, bridging the gap between classroom theory and real-world logistics. Key Responsibilities Instructional Delivery: Lead evening sessions covering the foundational and technical aspects of logistics, including product receiving, storage, order processing, and transportation. Curriculum Management: Utilize MSSC-approved materials to ensure students are prepared for the CLA and CLT national certification exams. Safety & Compliance: Teach and enforce industry safety standards, including OSHA regulations and workplace ergonomics. Student Support: Provide mentorship and feedback to a diverse student population, including adult learners and workforce development participants. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessment scores. Qualifications MSSC Certification: Must currently hold (or be eligible to quickly obtain) the MSSC Authorized Instructor status for CLA/CLT. Industry Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or warehouse operations. Education: Associate’s degree in a related field (Business, Logistics, Industrial Management) preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and significant industry leadership. Prior experience teaching adult learners or conducting corporate training. Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control software. Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex logistical workflows to entry-level learners.
