Job Description
PCU/Stepdown RN assignment for a 13-week contract working night shift, three 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM). The RN will provide progressive care nursing for patients requiring close monitoring and specialized cardiac and medical-surgical care in a PCU/Stepdown environment. Every other holiday required. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced acute care setting and maintaining high standards of patient safety and clinical care.

Requirements:

Minimum 18 months recent PCU/Stepdown experience required

Minimum 18 months permanent PCU/Stepdown experience prior to travel required

Active Ohio RN license or Compact RN license required at submission

Active AHA BLS certification required

Active AHA ACLS certification required

Active NIHSS certification preferred/required per facility compliance

1 supervisor/manager reference required at submission

Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate testing during orientation

2 attempts maximum allowed for orientation testing

No pending certifications accepted

Must comply with nicotine-free facility policy if applicable

All RTO must be submitted at time of submission
