Job description Job Details IQ Resource Group is hiring a Quality Assurance Inspector in the Elk River, MN area! Pay: $23.00 – $27.00/hour (based on experience) Shift Options: 1st Shift: Monday-Thursday, 6:00am-4:30pm 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday, 4:00pm-2:30am Weekend Shift: Friday-Sunday, 6:00am-6:30pm This is a Direct Hire! We are currently adding Quality Inspectors across 1st, 2nd, and Weekend shifts. This is a great fit for someone who has a background in manufacturing inspection, enjoys working in a fast-paced setting, and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work. Responsibilities Conduct inspections at multiple stages including incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) prior to production runs Confirm parts and materials meet customer specifications and order requirements Operate various inspection equipment including CMM, OGP systems, and other gauges and fixtures Review and understand blueprints, work orders, and GD&T specifications Document and input inspection data into the MES system Verify all required paperwork and certifications are complete before products are released for shipment Assist with upkeep and calibration of inspection tools and equipment Report any quality concerns or discrepancies to the appropriate team members Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized workspace Qualifications Prior experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment is required Experience in precision machining or mechanical inspection is preferred Ability to read and interpret blueprints along with GD&T Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D certified standards CMM experience is a plus, but not mandatory Basic computer skills, including experience with Excel Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles is beneficial Experience with measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges is a plus Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate effective #J-18808-Ljbffr
