Position Details

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill a crucial role with the following details:

Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)
Location: City, State
Years of Experience Required: Minimum of 3 years
Epic Experience: Required
Weekend Requirement: Yes
Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS (CNOR preferred)
Clinical Skills Required: Ortho Trauma, Craniotomy, Trauma Level III
On-Call Requirement: Call is 2 weeknights every 6 weeks, including one weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
Maximum Allowed Time Off: 7 total days in a 13-week assignment

Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and supporting surgical procedures within various specialties. Key tasks include:

Assisting in surgical operations, including a range of procedures such as abdominal aortic aneurysm repairs and craniotomies.
Administering and managing patient care pre- and post-operatively.
Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and infection control measures.
Maintaining accurate and thorough documentation in Epic charting system.

Qualifications

Candidates should meet the following qualifications:

3 years of relevant clinical experience.
Proficiency in the Epic charting system.
Preferably possess certifications in ACLS and CNOR.
Experience in managing trauma cases and associated surgical procedures.

Additional Information

The position involves working with diverse patient populations, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The daily patient load will vary, necessitating flexibility and a proactive approach.

Working hours may include various shifts, with emphasis on weekends and on-call duties as required by the unit's needs.
