Key Responsibilities\nYour primary responsibilities will include:

- Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to address the specific needs and challenges of each patient. \n
- Coordinating with medical providers to ensure a unified care strategy that promotes effective treatment outcomes. \n
- Providing immediate crisis intervention during mental health emergencies, ensuring that patients receive prompt and appropriate support. \n
- Educating patients on the interplay between their mental health and physical conditions, empowering them to manage their overall health. \n
- Maintaining precise and confidential records per legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. \n
- Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings and case conferences, contributing your insights towards collaborative care planning. \n
- Staying informed about the latest research and best practices related to integrated care and mental health services. \n
You will work predominantly with individuals facing complex issues resulting from co-occurring medical and mental health conditions. This includes adults and adolescents grappling with a range of challenges, from chronic pain and autoimmune disorders to substance use issues, making for a rewarding and impactful therapeutic experience.
Qualifications\nThe ideal candidate will possess:

- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California. \n
- Experience working with patients who have co-occurring medical conditions, coupled with strong interpersonal and communication skills. \n
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries while ensuring patient confidentiality and adherence to ethical guidelines. \n
- Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other computer applications relevant to clinical practice. \n
- An aptitude for working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to drive patient-focused outcomes. \n
While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in an integrated care setting, familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities, and skills in facilitating group therapy will be at an advantage. Additional training in trauma-informed care or similar methodologies will be considered a plus.
