Your Role:
As a Substitute Teacher, you will be pivotal in ensuring that our students continue to receive high-quality education in the absence of full-time instructors. You will facilitate engaging lessons and hands-on demonstrations in various cosmetology techniques, helping to maintain the momentum of student learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver lesson plans effectively, ensuring that students understand core concepts in cosmetology.
• Conduct practical demonstrations, allowing hands-on practice of techniques.
• Assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback and support.
• Maintain a positive, organized, and inclusive classroom environment.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Must have an active Illinois State Educator License.
• Experience in the cosmetology\esthetics industry is a plus.
• Prior experience in teaching or substitute teaching is a plus.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $21.00 and $25.00/hr. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
