Job Summary:
The healthcare professional specializing in Maternal Fetal Medicine in Falls Church, Virginia, is responsible for performing maternal ultrasound examinations within a busy outpatient setting. The role involves working with high-risk pregnancy patients, including those with twins or triplets and fetal anomalies, following established guidelines for Level II detailed second-trimester scans and first-trimester screenings.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: 2 years of Maternal Fetal Medicine (FETAL MED) experience, certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA), ARDMS certification in Obstetrics, and recent experience in sonography.
• Preferred Qualifications: NT certification is preferred but not required.
• Machines: GE E10 and Expert 22 onsite.
• Experience: Candidates should have experience scanning nuchal translucency, performing amniocentesis and CVS procedures, and managing high-risk pregnant patients.
• Additional Information: No weekend, holiday, or float requirements. Mandatory orientation is five days with scrubs in black. The facility uses GE Viewpoint and manages a patient load of 10-14 per day, with 5-12 other sonographers on site. Epic access is needed.
