Now, we're seeking a full- or part-time PTA - Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Port Huron, MI practice and support speedy recoveries.GREAT PAYWe value experience, and we're offering $26.00 - $32.00/hour based on your qualifications!EXCELLENT BENEFITSHealth insuranceDental and vision insuranceDisability coverageLife insurancePTOTravel reimbursementContinuing education creditsINTRIGUED?Take your first major steps in the physical therapy field and make a meaningful difference as our new PTA - Physical Therapist Assistant!YOUR NEW ROLE AS OUR PTA - PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANTFull- and part-time hours are available between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.You'll be working alongside the clinical care team and following directions from the supervising physical therapist to deliver quality, compassionate treatments to patients. With a positive and professional attitude, you'll patiently guide individuals through therapeutic exercises and functional training activities, adapting forms as needed to match the patient's current physical state. You'll document treatments, monitor patients' progress, and communicate with the physical therapist regarding their recoveries. To support home healing, you'll also educate patients (and their families) on helpful home exercises and recovery programs. Over time, you'll learn more about the physical therapy field and grow into a more confident, capable, and independent professional!REQUIREMENTSOur ideal PTA - Physical Therapist Assistant has some outpatient orthopedic experience, but it's not required. Some bilingual fluency in English and Arabic would be a bonus!
