Job Description
Exciting Night Shift Opportunity for Experienced RNs in Women's Health!

Job Description:


- Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
- Experience Required: Minimum 3 years; accepts first-time travelers!
- Epic Experience: Mandatory - you must have EPIC experience.
- Weekend Coverage: 4 weekend shifts per month (Friday or Saturday nights).
- On Call Requirement: Mandatory on-call duty, 2 times per month in addition to regular shifts.
- Floating Requirement: Must be willing to float to Perinatal if needed.
- Additional Note: Will be placed on call if the RN is not needed for scheduled shift.

Unit Details:
- Triage: 4 beds
- LDR: 11 beds
- OR: 2 rooms
- NICU & Post-Partum: Specialized care
- Staffing: 24 OB hospitalists & OB anesthesia
- Patient Population: Low and High Risk L&D; Neonates, Adolescents, Adults

Required Skills:
- Use of External Fetal Monitoring
- Recognition and Treatment of Abnormal Fetal Heart Rate Patterns
- Circulate for C-Section

Unit Systems:
- SBAR
- Omnicell
- eMD Allscripts

Required Certifications:
- AHA BLS
- ACLS
- NRP
- AWHONN Advanced

Scheduling Details:
- Must work most holidays.
- RTO (Request Time Off) must be included with submission:
- No RTO the first two weeks of the assignment.
- Maximum of 3 days RTO.
- One holiday RTO submission allowed but not guaranteed approval.

Pre-Start Requirements:
- Active California RN License required at submission.
- References required.
- Required certifications must be included with submission.
- Advanced EKG exam required (80% minimum passing score).
- Smoke/Nicotine-Free Facility: Arrive free of tobacco odor.
