- Diagnosis and repair of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues
- Routine safety and functionality inspections

- Other tasks as assigned by supervisor
- Six (6) months of mechanical work experience documented in your application, or completion of a maintenance/HVAC training program (experience may be combined across employers)
- Rehire eligibility: after 180 days and fewer than 3 prior terms worked at this facility
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must present valid identification
- Willing to use basic hand tools
- Working knowledge of welding, hydraulics, basic electricity, power transmission, pneumatics, and plumbing
- Ability to read and comprehend assignments
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Climb stairs up to 120 feet and ladders up to 60 feet
- Stand for long periods
- Work in hot, cold, and inclement weather conditions
- PLC troubleshooting
- Mechanical troubleshooting
- Hydraulic systems
- Preventive maintenance and inspection
- Electrical troubleshooting and repair
- Pneumatic systems troubleshooting
- Blueprint reading
- Variable Frequency Drives (VFD)
- Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
- Conveyor systems
- Servo motors
