General Shale, Inc., the nation's leading manufacturer of brick and masonry materials, is seeking a Forklift Operator to support operations at our Manassas, Virginia sales and distribution center. This role is ideal for a safety-conscious individual with forklift experience who enjoys hands-on work and providing excellent customer service.

The Forklift Operator is responsible for supporting daily yard and distribution operations, loading and unloading materials, preparing products for delivery, and assisting customers. This position plays a key role in ensuring efficient operations while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Perform daily yard operations including loading and unloading trucks using a forklift (Hi-Lo)
• Safely handle and move product manually as needed
• Prepare materials for customer pickup and scheduled deliveries
• Provide professional and courteous customer service
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard area
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support distribution operations

Qualifications:

• Previous forklift (Hi-Lo) experience required
• Ability to interact professionally with customers and the public
• Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, stooping, and lifting
• Basic computer skills preferred
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and commitment to safety

Physical requirements include:

• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, and perform manual handling of materials throughout the workday
