Key Responsibilities

Deliver Exceptional Client Service

• Serve as a trusted point of contact for assigned personal lines clients.
• Respond to client questions regarding coverage, billing, policy changes, and service requests.
• Assist clients through policy updates, endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements, and other account activities.
• Support clients during the claims process by providing guidance and follow-up assistance.

Manage Renewals and Coverage Reviews

• Prepare and manage policy renewals to ensure a seamless client experience.
• Review policies for accuracy and communicate coverage updates clearly and professionally.
• Identify opportunities to improve coverage and strengthen client retention.
• Help clients make informed decisions about their insurance program.

Support Agency Growth

• Partner with the Personal Lines Sales Team to support new business opportunities.
• Manage new business opportunities from initial contact through policy binding.
• Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships through additional coverage solutions.
• Contribute to agency retention, growth, and service goals.

Collaborate and Build Strong Partnerships

• Work closely with insurance carriers and underwriters to obtain policy information, endorsements, and coverage solutions.
• Partner with teammates to deliver exceptional service and support agency objectives.
• Assist with complex client situations and collaborate on solutions that best serve our clients.

Skills & Experience

Required Qualifications

• Must hold a current North Carolina Property & Casualty Insurance License
• Strong understanding of personal insurance products, policy forms, endorsements, and coverage options.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with agency management systems and standard business technology.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within an independent insurance agency.
• Familiarity with AMS360 or similar agency management systems.
