Physical Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist (PT) to join an inpatient rehabilitation team in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about helping patients restore mobility, reduce pain, and improve overall physical function through personalized treatment plans and evidence-based therapy techniques. Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT) Location: San Antonio, TX, 78216 Shift: Days Pay: $48-52/hour Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP Role Overview: The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and functional independence. The ideal candidate will have inpatient rehabilitation experience and the ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities: • Evaluate patient conditions, mobility limitations, and rehabilitation needs • Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans • Provide therapeutic exercises and mobility training to restore function and reduce pain • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, exercises, and injury prevention • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation teams to coordinate patient care • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and treatment records • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards • Promote wellness, mobility, and long-term recovery strategies for patients Requirements: • Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program • Current Texas Physical Therapist License required • Current BLS Certification (AHA or ARC) required • Minimum 2 years of Physical Therapist experience required • Minimum 1 year of inpatient rehabilitation experience required • Experience with MedHost EMR preferred • Strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques, mobility training, and patient care practices • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills About Pride Health-Pride Health offers eligible employee’s comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance, and employee discounts with preferred vendors Equal Employment Opportunity Pride Health is an equal opportunity employer.
