Parent Shift - Front of House Team Member

For parents looking for flexibility, our Parent Shift offers 9:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. or 10:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. shifts, starting at $16/hour with a minimum of 20 hours per week. As a Front of House (FOH) Team Member at Chick-fil-A, you will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring they receive excellent service and a memorable dining experience. This role involves greeting customers, taking orders, serving food and drink orders, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Accurately take customer orders in the restaurant and drive-thru and enter orders into the POS system. Provide menu knowledge and suggest additional items when appropriate. Serve customers promptly and ensure food meets quality and presentation standards. Process payments using the POS, handle cash transactions, and ensure accuracy, including providing correct change. Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, front counter, and restrooms by clearing tables, wiping surfaces, and taking out trash as needed. Work collaboratively with kitchen and other Team Members to ensure orders are completed accurately and quickly. Address customer inquiries and proactively work to resolve complaints in a courteous and efficient manner. Follow all company policies, procedures, and food safety regulations to ensure the health and safety of customers. Assist Team Leaders and Team Members by refilling beverage containers, ice, condiments, cups, and other supplies. This may involve carrying loads of 25+ lbs. on a daily basis. Honor and encourage others to follow and fulfill the purpose and values of Chick-fil-A Atlantic Avenue. Fulfill other suitable duties as assigned by Leaders or Directors. Knowledge and Experience Requirements: Prior experience in food service or customer service is not required. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and work outside in the sun. Must be able to lift items over 25 lbs. on a daily basis. Skills & Attributes: Customer-Oriented: Friendly, positive, and outgoing with strong interpersonal skills.
