Informatica Developer

Informatica DeveloperWe are currently searching for an Informatica Developer to join our dynamic team. In this position you will review, evaluate, design, implement, and maintain ETL Programs. You will identify data sources, construct data decomposition diagrams, and document the process. You will develop ETL programs to load the data marts & data warehouses for reporting purposes and create extract files in a structured format for other business purposes.Analysis and Design Responsibilities· Assist in identifying entities, attributes, and relationships, define them in a complete and accurate formPrepare technical documents to identify work flows & data flows and source & destination mappingsDevelopment and Implementation Responsibilities· Develop ETL (Extraction, Transformation & Load) programs to load data marts and data warehouses.Create database objects, normalize tables as needed. Maintain the database referential integrityCreate accurate mapping from source to destination and ensure the data is accurately transferred.Implement the business logic by developing proper data transformations inside the work & data flowsFollow SDLC (System Development Life Cycle).Testing & Quality Assurance Responsibilities· Perform unit, system, integration, and regression tests. Document test results and make recommendationsValidate the data thoroughly for its accuracy against the source system or other standard system reportsAdministration and Maintenance Responsibilities· Monitor the production jobs and make sure they are completed on-timePerform audits regularly in accordance with company policies and correct the audit findingsTeamwork/Collaboration Responsibilities· Understand project plans and clearly articulate roles, project goals, and timelineTake input from supervisor, and appropriately & accurately apply the comments/feedback.Establish harmonious and effective working relationships with team members and clients.To be considered, you will need:· 5+ years of experience in Development and Implementation of Data warehouse & BI solutions3+ years solid hands-on database development & SQL programming experience (stored procedures, triggers) using MS SQL Server, Oracle, and/or other databases2+ Experience in ETL Development using tools like Informatica, SAP Data Service (Data Integrator)Thorough knowledge and experience in Relational & Dimensional Data Models, OLAP, Star & Snow-flake schema and experience in developing data models using Erwin, MS-VISIOGood knowledge and experience of data warehouse architecture, design principles, practices, systems development, & analysisExperience in developing Reporting & Analytical solutions using tools like Business Objects, Cognos, etc.Academic Background:· Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
