Prepared Meals and Rotisserie Chicken Associate Location: Sam's Club #8189, 200 Emily Dr, Clarksburg, WV 26301-5500 Position Summary Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes, and organization? Our prepared meal and rotisserie chicken associates prepare fresh food items daily for our members through following recipes and preparing our always warm and ready rotisserie chicken. We’ll also count on you to properly wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure our members have the freshest items available to take home to their families. There are times when you will juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members with their bakery orders. Your smile can make the difference between a good shopping experience and a great one. You won’t just prepare fresh food—you’ll help a family have a great meal. What you’ll do Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise and collaborate with cross functional teams to educate other associates. Prepare food according to item specifications, plan future productions, adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management, operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment. Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology for production and product quality decisions. Drive performance of the area, manage high exposure and expectations, stock and rotate merchandise, ensure quality and date control standards, eliminate waste, and guide peers. Serve as a talent ambassador by valuing the member’s experience, executing basics at the highest level of quality, and demonstrating energy, commitment, and passion. Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; use the Open Door Policy and apply in all business processes. Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other partners; communicate progress; recommend improvement opportunities; and adapt to change. Minimum Qualifications I acknowledge that the position for which I am applying requires me to successfully complete all required training and assessments within a prescribed time period if I receive the position. Must be 18 years of age or older. Preferred Qualifications Food Service – Food Handler Certification (Food Safety). The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. Additional compensation may include premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
