Position Title: Forklift

Wage: $24.00/Hour

Shift: 3rd Shift


Hours: 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM Sunday - Thursday

Forklift Responsibilities:
- Locates materials and supplies by picking and verifying materials and supplies listed on the work order
- Maintains in-process inventory at the production line by delivering and opening materials and supplies
- Receives return material and supplies from production by verifying material quantity; placing materials back in stock
- Prepares finished stock for shipment by labeling, loading, pulling, and securing product
- Documents product quantity to be shipped by accurately recording cases on pallet sheet
- Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections, making operator repairs
- Aware of operational environment to ensure safety for self and others at all times
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed
- Operates and maintains various material handling equipment including forklift, pallet jacks, hand trucks and utility carts
- Maintains organized, clean safe work area
- Working with RF Scanning equipment to maintain records of merchandise shipped, as well as examine, stock and distribute materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines
- Finished goods palletizing

Requirements For Forklift:
- Must be able to stand throughout shift
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Must have prior forklift operating experience
- Must have experience working in manufacturing prior with longevity in work history
- Must have prior experience in receiving
- Barcoding and data entry skills preferred
