Perform expanded functions within Pennsylvania scope, including restorations, sealants, fluoride treatments, coronal polishing, and radiographs. Educate patients on treatment plans, post-operative care, and oral hygiene. Maintain OSHA, CDC, and HIPAA compliance through proper infection control and sterilization. Manage clinical equipment, supplies, and basic lab duties, including temporary restorations. Accurately document patient care and maintain clinical records. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient, safe, and exceptional patient care. What You'll Bring Current Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) license for the commonwealth of PA (Applications will be accepted for those in a certified EFDA program eligible to apply for licensure to be obtained before hire) Current DANB Radiation & Health Safety Certification OR eligibility to obtain within first 90 days Current CPR (BLS) Certification OR able to obtain within first 90 days Proficiency with EHRs and computers (Microsoft Word, internet, electronic charting) Core Skills Proficiency in restoration placement Excellent interpersonal skills to work with healthcare team in delivering care to a diverse, sometimes challenging patient population. Ability to show respect for people and their differences. Ability to stay calm under pressure.
