Rogers Krajnak Architects, Inc. Current Career Opportunities at RKA Project Architect Full time position Involvement in all phases of projects from Programming through Construction Administration Design Team Leader collaborating with Project Manager to coordinate in‑house and outside consultant teams Prepare reports documenting the existing conditions of buildings and sites Participate in the architectural design process and coordinate design with the design team Prepare project manuals and technical specifications Client interface Construction Administration Assist with marketing initiatives and take part in interviews Assist Principals and Project Manager with in‑house firm management initiatives Required Education / Experience Degree in Architecture from an NAAB accredited university Registered Architect in the state of Ohio and/or NCARB Certification 10 years of full time, post‑degree, architectural firm experience Required Skills Proficiency with AutoCAD, REVIT, SketchUp, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Adobe Suites Experience leading project teams on complex projects Experience in leading projects from concept through construction Experience with complex renovation, additions, and restoration projects Excellent verbal and written communication and leadership skills Experience in creating project manuals and technical specifications Construction Administration experience Compensation and Benefits Signing bonus Competitive salary Paid holidays Employee Healthcare/Dental Insurance paid by firm 401k with employer match Bonus opportunities Paid personal time‑off In‑house continuing education program Flexible work hours Intern Architect Full time position Involvement in all phases of projects from Programming through Construction Administration Onsite documentation of existing conditions Prepare drawings and reports documenting the existing conditions of buildings and sites Assist Principals and PM with developing design options Research materials and products in accordance with project and budget requirements Prepare design presentations for commercial and residential projects Create marketing presentations Create social media posts and updates Meet and collaborate with product sales reps Prepare 2D drawings and 3D models for all project phases Assist PM with preparing project manuals and technical specifications Client interface Required Education / Experience Professional degree in Architecture from an NAAB accredited university 2 years of full time, post‑degree, architectural firm experience Required Skills Proficiency with AutoCAD, REVIT, SketchUp, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Adobe Suites Experience with a variety of project types Experience with complex renovation, additions, and restoration projects Experience in creating drawings and reports that document the existing conditions of buildings and sites Excellent communication skills Self‑motivated to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting Compensation and Benefits Signing bonus Competitive salary Paid holidays Employee Healthcare/Dental Insurance paid by firm 401k with employer match Bonus opportunities Paid personal time‑off In‑house continuing education program Flexible work hours RKA is an Equal Opportunity Employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
