This role involves providing specialized care for patients with conditions such as stroke, cardiac issues, sepsis, trauma, surgery, and more within a dedicated Stroke Unit. The nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment on a 30-bed unit. Job Details Position: Step Down Unit Nurse Shift: Night shift, 12 hours per shift Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, drivers license or state ID, proof of ascent profile, two professional references, minimum of 1 year of experience in a related specialty, and overall 1 year of professional nursing experience. Additional Information: This role is dedicated to patients on the stroke unit, requiring skills in managing neurologic conditions and acuity levels specific to stroke care and related conditions. The unit has a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4 and focuses on delivering patient-centered care aligned with best practices.
