Staff Management | SMX in Jackson, TN is hiring Manufacturing Group Leads to support our client's essential daily operations by packaging food products in a factory environment. We offer a production schedule that operates on a two week, rotating 36/48 hour schedule. Associates receive weekly paychecks and Medical/Dental benefits. Schedules:

Day Shift: 6:00am-6:pm

Night Shift: 6:00am-6:pm ($0.50 Shift Differential)

Shifts: 1st Shift, 3rd Shift, Weekend Shifts. Employment Types: Temp to Hire, Full Time. Pay Rate: $18.00 - $18.50 / hour

Duties:

• Lead and support a team of manufacturing associates to ensure daily production goals are met safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Perform packing, hand packing, rework, inspections, and visual quality checks to ensure compliance with warehouse quality standards.
• Assist with line clearances, changeovers, and minor equipment adjustments to minimize downtime.
• Provide break and lunch relief by temporarily covering production positions to maintain continuous operations and minimize downtime.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment while promoting accountability and continuous improvement.
• Support other warehouse and production duties as assigned to meet operational needs such as 5S workplace organization.
• Move, stage, and handle raw materials, work in process (WIP), finished goods, and product returns to maintain production flow in the warehouse.
• Follow safety, quality, production, factory, and operational procedures while contributing to daily production goals.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).

Requirements:

• Background Check, Drug Test, Must be at least 18 years old. Able to Lift 50 pounds.
• Required education: No Education Requirement.
