Maintenance/Custodial - Cleaner
179 days plus contracted holidays 4 hrs./day (2:30pm-6:30pm) Building: Forestlawn Early Learning Center Base rate of pay: $ 16.35/hr.
Position Title: Cleaner
Organizational: Reports to: Director of Operations, Principal, Head Custodian, or designee.
Qualifications:
- Possess a high school diploma or its equivalent.
- Prior successful experience as a cleaner preferred.
- Possess general knowledge of cleaning and housekeeping.
- Ability to do relevant mathematical calculations.
- Such additional qualifications as the Board may deem appropriate and necessary under law.
Job Goal: To provide a clean, safe and attractive school facility.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of school facilities as assigned.
- Responsible for cleaning windows inside and out.
- Keep walks, steps, and entrances free of snow, ice, and debris as necessary.
- Clean floors using ride on or walk behind cleaning equipment.
- Perform such other duties as assigned by Head Custodian, Custodian, Principal, Business Manager or designee.
