Cloud Engineer III will design and maintain AWS infrastructure, networking, security controls, API hosting environments, monitoring tools, scalability configurations, and production deployment support.Role and ResponsibilitiesExperience with core AWS platform architecture including Organizations, Account Design, VPC, Subnet, segmentation strategiesExperience monitoring operations and security of EC2, container, and AWS servicesFamiliarity with executing Stacks, CloudFormation, Terraform scriptsFamiliarity with network connectivity including AWS Direct Connect and AWS Site‑to‑Site VPNsFamiliarity with encryption using AWS KMSFamiliarity with logging using CloudWatch and CloudTrailAbility to execute implementation plans in AWS for initiatives ranging from load‑balanced EC2 scaling groups to Lambda functionsAbility to manage AWS resources and native cloud servicesMaintain continuity of operations with 100% uptimeExperience working within a Continuous Integration environment using Docker and KubernetesExperience with Git, GitHub, Bitbucket versioning systemsAbility to monitor and manage system resources and application performanceExperience with monitoring tools such as DataDog, Kibana, ElasticsearchExperience with build tools such as Maven, Gradle, ANT, GruntExpertise in Amazon S3 for object storage, lifecycle management, versioning, replication, and data securityExperience with AWS Fargate for containerized application deployment and managementExperience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, or JenkinsExperience with RDS, PostgreSQL, and other AWS data servicesStrong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShellExperience working on Agile projectsExperience working in large projects interacting with multiple teamsRequired Experience7+ years of Application Development, Maintenance, or Application Administration3–5 years of experience maintaining AWS infrastructure5+ years of experience with DevOps tools5+ years of experience supporting applications on AWSClear written and verbal communication skillsSelf‑directed and self‑motivated with ability to take charge or support as neededMust be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.Must have lived in the United States 3 out of the past 5 years.Preferred ExperienceCMS healthcare experienceExperience with large‑scale cloud operations and cross‑team collaborationEducation & CertificationBachelor’s degree in a technical fieldAWS certificationsWHAT WE OFFER: At Sparksoft, we know that people do their best work when they feel supported, inspired, and connected.
