Experienced Automotive Technician

Experienced Service TechnicianOur dealership is expanding, and we're looking for an Experienced Service Technician to become an important part of our service department. If you have a solid background in automotive repair, hold Ford (or other) certifications, and take pride in delivering quality workmanship, we'd love to hear from you. Become part of a team that values exceptional customer service, supports one another, and is committed to continued growth.BenefitsMedical, dental, and health insurance401(k) retirement planPaid vacation and personal time offCareer advancement opportunitiesEmployee vehicle purchase programFamily-owned and operated workplaceStable, long-term employmentFlexible scheduling optionsResponsibilitiesComplete repairs listed on repair orders accurately and efficiently while following dealership and manufacturer standards.Perform road tests and inspect vehicle systems using factory-approved diagnostic equipment and specialized service tools.Diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, electrical components, brakes, and HVAC systems.Work closely with Service Advisors by communicating additional repair recommendations, estimated completion times, and any unexpected findings.Perform warranty repairs in accordance with Ford factory procedures and specifications.Qualifications2 Years of Service Tech experience at a Dealership RequiredHigh school diploma or equivalent schooling Required.Ford certification a huge plusASE or other OEM certifications a plusB-Level technical abilities, including diagnostics, electrical systems, and engine repair.Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.Ability to use electronic diagnostic tools and modern repair equipment effectively.Good computer proficiency and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.Positive attitude with a willingness to continue learning and developing technical skills.Comfortable working in a fast-paced service environment.Team-oriented with strong communication and collaboration skills.Ability to quickly learn updated repair procedures, new technologies, and manufacturer specifications.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
