About the Role

The Company is seeking a Director of Engineering to join their team. The successful candidate will be a strategic and hands-on leader, responsible for the preservation, enhancement, and elevation of the physical assets that contribute to the distinctive, story-driven hospitality experiences. This role is pivotal in ensuring operational excellence, safety, and the seamless operation of all systems and structures. The Director of Engineering will lead a culture of accountability, proactive maintenance, sustainability, and service, and will be a key member of the leadership team, championing the company's commitment to inspired spaces and exceptional guest experiences. Key responsibilities for the Director of Engineering include facilitating daily maintenance operations, conducting regular assessments of the physical structure and systems, and developing and overseeing the preventative maintenance process. The role also involves serving as a project manager for all major projects, managing the repair work order process, and ensuring quality assurance for work performed by maintenance teams and outside vendors. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, the ability to communicate and cooperate positively with peers and supervisors, and a working knowledge of safety policies and regulations. Additionally, the Director of Engineering will be responsible for maintaining an adequate inventory of parts and supplies, advising on new developments that may affect the company's operations, and providing training in all areas related to engineering.
