Role: Network Technician
Location : Bakersfield, CA 93308
Duration: 6+ Months
Note: NO C2C (Only W2)
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience supporting network infrastructure and network devices.
- Experience with racking, stacking, cabling, and decommissioning network hardware.
- Hands-on experience supporting routers, switches, firewalls, WiFi, and IP Telephony (IPT).
- Knowledge of RF technologies including microwave radios, cellular nodes, and VSAT systems.
- Experience with ServiceNow and network troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to ServiceNow incidents and perform network troubleshooting.
- Install, remove, swap, and maintain network equipment and cabling.
- Support LAN, voice, WiFi, fiber, copper, and telecom infrastructure.
- Perform IMAC activities, DNS lookups, device connectivity testing, and switch port identification.
- Provide smart-hands support for telecom systems including RF, VSAT, LTE/5G, CCTV, and IP Telephony.
- Follow change management, safety, compliance, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with IT teams, service providers, and project stakeholders to restore and maintain services.
