Job Description

As a Lead Maintenance Technician, you will lead service technicians on the team in the installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will support the Operations Maintenance team in designing solutions for difficult problems and managing projects. You will help train and mentor service technicians and contract technicians.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Promote and lead a safe working environment by following all safety procedures
• Maintain and troubleshoot all conveyor systems in the building
• Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo-eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, etc.
• Create and close out work orders with data including labor hours, equipment maintenance and parts used
• Provide feedback on work order discrepancies
• Maintain a positive working relationship across all of the Operations facility
• Act as liaison between the maintenance team, Maintenance Manager, Planners, Vendors, and Client
• Develop training plans for service technicians
• Develop work plans for emergency repair of critical assets
• Allocate job plans leveraging experience and judgments to achieve department goals
• Provide mentoring to team members, maintaining high standards
• Ensure compliance with company and client regulations, policies, and procedures
• Achieve performance expectations set forth in performance appraisals

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Must have ability to reach overhead, kneel, squat, climb steps/ladders, and frequently lift a maximum of 50 lbs. of equipment

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.

The compensation for the position is: $31.45 - $37.00
