As a dedicated ICU Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in delivering top-notch care to patients in critical condition. Your expertise will be vital in collaborating with physicians to develop and implement comprehensive care plans, ensuring patients receive the best possible outcomes.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Providing bedside nursing care and executing medical orders
• Delegating and overseeing the functions of Nurse Assistants, Patient Care Associates, and other support staff
• Evaluating the effectiveness of care plans and making necessary adjustments
• Integrating evidence-based knowledge into practice
• Facilitating and participating in patient conferences
• Identifying and addressing ongoing and discharge teaching needs
• Mentoring and precepting new employees and students
• Functioning as a team leader to ensure proper patient placement and task delegation
• Communicating relevant information effectively
• Demonstrating strong organizational skills through effective planning

Requirements for this position include:

• Need 2 years experience in setting
• Comfortable with floating to ED and Step-down units
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Preferred: Travel experience, Neuro surgical experience, Open heart experience
• Nice to have: TCAR, TNCC, CCRN, SCRN certifications
