Transport Engineer

Alongside this, you will also have the opportunity to take responsibility for project management, budgeting, producing bill of quantities, and costings.Provide assurance that scheme designs comply with specification and agreed programmeWork to ensure designs comply with health and safety regulations and CDM requirementsAlongside colleagues, ensure designs are assessed for environmental impactsAbout youWe are looking for an Engineer with consulting experience around the design and management of the Section 278/38 process, as well as:Sound knowledge of the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges and Manual for StreetsAbility to engage and conduct effective negotiations with client, stakeholders, subcontractors and third partiesUnderstanding of Health & Safety legislationCompetent in use of CAD, Vehicle Tracking and knowledge of Civil 3DCulture & Inclusion at SLRWe are committed to being an equal opportunities employer, and our expectations go beyond purely complying with legislation.
