Quality Control Machine Operator
Pay: $20.00/hour Location: Wooster, Ohio Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire | Eligible for permanent placement after approximately 90 days

Spherion Mid Ohio is hiring Quality Control Machine Operators in Wooster for a hands-on manufacturing opportunity combining machine operation, product inspection, quality control, and finished-product preparation.
This is a great fit for someone who takes pride in catching the details, following quality standards, and making sure finished products are ready to meet customer expectations.
Available Shifts
Day Shift: 7:00 AM7:00 PM Night Shift: 7:00 PM7:00 AM
What You'll Do
- Set up and operate inspection equipment
- Monitor finished materials throughout the inspection process
- Inspect both sides of products for defects and inconsistencies
- Grade and classify finished products according to quality standards
- Identify and document quality issues
- Verify finished products meet required specifications
- Prepare and apply product identification labels
- Package finished materials for shipment
- Build and secure completed products for safe handling
- Maintain an organized, safe, and quality-focused work area
What You'll Need
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1+ year of related manufacturing, production, machine operation, or quality experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and visual inspection skills
- Ability to follow established quality standards and work instructions
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn inspection equipment and quality processes
- Ability to stay focused while performing detailed, repetitive inspection work
