Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

• Deliver patient care to a diverse age range, from newborns to geriatric patients
• Manage cases including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Operate specialized equipment such as Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
• Ability to float to different unit areas as required
• Potential charge nurse responsibilities as needed

Requirements of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

• 2+ years of ED experience with pediatric knowledge
• Travel experience required
• Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC certifications (TNCC required)
• Active NY RN license and all other RN licenses verified through NURSYS
• Experience with EPIC EMR systems
