Onto Innovation strives to optimize customers’ critical path of progress by making them smarter, faster and more efficient.**Job Summary & Responsibilities**Responsible for ensuring Onto Innovations customers receive a high level of support through real time communication and system knowledge.* Install new systems within the US region.* Respond to customer requests for tool support and regular maintenance.* Provide technical assistance to ONTO's US customers in real time in both onsite and remote situations.* Read electrical and hardware schematics.* Communicate daily status both internally and externally.* Time management in high pressure situations.* Flexibility and adaptability.**Qualifications*** Preferred Field Service experience in the Semiconductor Industry.* College/University degree in engineering.* Ability to identify and use common hand tools.* Ability to work unsupervised yet within a team setting.* Troubleshooting experience in electrical, mechanical and software applications.* Excellent interpersonal & communication skills in a technical environment.* Ability to utilize all Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint, Word and Excel.* Ability to travel regularly throughout the US and internationally, approximately 75% of the time.At Onto Innovation, we believe your work should matter—and so should your well-being.
