More than one position may be hired from this posting. Location: Main Campus Classification: Custodian Position Type: Classified Anticipated Start Date: Upon Hire Salary/Wage: Hourly Salary/Wage Range: $17.76 - $26.04 (Classified Hourly Pay Grade 6) Salary/Compensation Statement: Hourly wage reflects an approximate annual salary of $36,935- $54,166. New employees may not be placed on the salary schedule higher than any current employee in this classification with the same or greater number of years' relevant experience. Required Experience: Six (6) months of experience performing the full range of custodial duties. Licensure or Certification Requirements: A current Oregon driver's license. Essential Functions: Sweep and mop floors using hand or power equipment. Empties trash containers. Scrub and refinish floors. Wash walls and mirrors. Wash windows (inside and outside) using the Unger system. Dust, clean whiteboards, drinking fountains, counters and lights, cleans and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies. Vacuum, spot clean, shampoo and extract carpets. Comply with college and division policies and procedures. Adhere to all OSHA standards. Actively participate in team meetings and activities Maintain positive verbal and written communication with employees and department staff. Honor and promote the college's Mission, Vision and Values. Work independently and collaborate as part of team to ensure high-quality custodial work. Problem solve and manage sensitive information with appropriate awareness of FERPA standards; maintain confidentiality and sensitivity to the privacy needs of students. Other duties as assigned.
