Benefits Coordinator
For over 25 years, G&A Partners has been helping entrepreneurs grow their businesses, take better care of their employees, and enjoy a higher quality of life by providing proven HR solutions and technology. A growing, Houston-based professional services firm, G&A Partners is currently seeking a Benefits Coordinator to join its team at the corporate office or G&A satellite office, or fully remotely.

Responsibilities
- Support management of current client base and new business and renewal activities
- Assist Account Manager and Sales team in the development, marketing, implementation, administration and communication of benefit plans.
- Obtain, compare, and analyze quotes
- Coordinate and prepare materials for employee meetings for open enrollment.
- Review contracts, prepare documents, and maintain client files in CRM with complete and accurate data.
- Assist with documentation for client benefit websites
- Attend carrier and vendor seminars to continually be informed of industry changes and developments
- Handle all benefit related client service and administration issues (i.e. billing, eligibility, claims, etc.)
- Act as a liaison between client and vendors
- Ensure that renewal checklists and requirements are completed for each client
- Prepare and submit sold employee applications
- Other duties as needed
Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma, some college is preferred
Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in a related role Benefits and medical insurance knowledge Detail oriented and highly organized, Excellent communication skills verbal and written Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Computer Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is a must
Certifications & Licenses:
- Life and Health License a plus

Salary
Starting wage is $24.03/hour to $28.84/hour The starting range represents the low and high end of the G&A Partners' range for this position. Actual wages will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of G&A's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include commissions, annual bonuses, and program specific rewards. In addition, G&A Partners provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, flexible spending, ancillary benefits, retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
