Support essential pharmacy operations at a 75-bed hospital in Medford, WI, serving diverse inpatient and outpatient needs. This travel pharmacist role offers a dynamic environment to apply your expertise in a critical care setting with various specialties including Med/Surg, OB/GYN, ICU, oncology, and emergency services.

Schedule & Location:

• Primarily 10-hour day shifts with occasional 8-hour weekend shifts during pharmacist rotations
• Located in Medford, WI
• Immediate start with a 13+ week assignment

Responsibilities:

• Oversee multiple tasks within the central inpatient pharmacy, including verifying EPIC medication orders, reviewing technician outputs, and responding to pharmacist inquiries
• Administer inpatient and outpatient intravenous therapies, inpatient unit dose medications, and outpatient chemotherapy treatments
• Manage an inpatient census averaging 30-40 patients, supporting surgical and medical units as well as outpatient oncology services

Qualifications:

• Licensure as a Pharmacist with hospital pharmacy experience
• Proficiency with EPIC or similar electronic health record systems
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Experience preparing and verifying IV and chemotherapy medications preferred
