Goldfish Seafood NorCal Inc. is looking for a sharp, detail-obsessed Warehouse Lead to join our team in Stockton, CA. This isn’t a passive desk job or just a floor-walking role; it is a fast-paced, hands-on position that bridges our office logistics with our physical inventory.

Your morning starts at the computer, but your day is spent on the move. You will be the ultimate line of defense for our quality control and inventory protection. Schedule & Hours

• Shift: Monday through Friday, starting strictly at 3:00 AM .

• Daily Hours: This is a task-driven role that runs until the day's delivery routes and duties are completed. While a typical day averages around 5 hours , the shift length varies. Some days are short and fast, while others run longer based on order volume.

• Overtime Opportunity: There is consistent opportunity for extra hours on the warehouse floor for a lead who is efficient, proactive, and fully capable of operating our forklifts and machinery.

Key Responsibilities

• Order & Route Logistics: Start the day by printing all delivery estimates, meticulously organizing them by delivery route, and planning the floor's workflow.

• Flawless Quality Control: Verify every single outgoing order against printed estimates. You are responsible for ensuring zero mistakes in product packaging, counts, sizing, and labeling before it hits the truck.

• Inventory & Margin Protection: Understand that inventory is money. Prevent product loss through careful handling, accurate tracking, and strict adherence to cold-chain storage requirements.

• Dual Desk & Floor Operations: Seamlessly transition between digital inventory management on the computer and active, physical floor work.

• Drive & Operate: Safely operate a forklift and electric pallet jack to move, stack, and stage heavy seafood shipments.

• Team Support: Lead by example. When the team is slammed, you are mobile, on the floor, and ready to roll up your sleeves to help pack, load, or sort.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Language: Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a absolute must. You must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with both office management and floor staff in both languages.

• The Software: High proficiency with computer systems, with direct experience using QuickBooks for inventory tracking preferred.

• The Muscle & Movement: Must be highly mobile, able to work on your feet in a cold-storage environment, and capable of heavy lifting.

• Heavy Machinery: Certified to drive a forklift and experienced with electric pallet jacks (or able to certify immediately).

• The Eagle Eye: Exceptional attention to detail. You are the type of person who catches a minor sizing or packaging discrepancy instantly.

• Experience: 2+ years of warehouse experience, ideally in food distribution, perishable goods, or cold-chain environments.

• The Schedule: Ability to work early morning shifts to get our routes out on time.
