We take pride in fostering a culture where employees feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow.Accounting Manager – North America FinanceWe're looking for a hands-on Accounting Manager to lead accounting and financial close for our US operations, within a fast-paced, multi-entity, international environment tied to a European publicly listed group.What You'll DoLead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close for US entities (US GAAP + Group reporting)Oversee Accounts Payable, employee expenses, and vendor payment processesManage banking activities, cash transactions, and bank reconciliationsOwn intercompany accounting across Canada, Mexico, Europe, Asia, and North AfricaStrengthen internal controls and support internal/external auditsDrive accounting transformation: chart of accounts harmonization, process standardization, automation, and NetSuite optimizationSupport M&A due diligence and post-acquisition accounting integrationPartner cross-functionally with FP&A, AR, Payroll, HR, Sales, and EngineeringLead, coach, and develop the US accounting teamWhat You BringBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in an accounting leadership role (Accounting Manager, Senior Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller, or similar)Must have ERP experience/knowledge – NetSuite is preferredStrong US GAAP knowledge and familiarity with federal/state/local tax requirementsExperience managing financial close in a multinational, multi-entity organization with tight public-company reporting deadlinesTrack record managing high-volume intercompany transactions across countriesAdvanced Excel skillsNice to HaveBackground in engineering services, technology consulting, professional services, or project-based businessesM&A/integration experienceExposure to finance transformation, systems implementation, or shared-services/matrix environmentsAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment and will not be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, age, genetic information, or pregnancy.Compliance Notice: Alten USA is a federal contractor subject to the requirements of the Vietnam Era Veterans' Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA) and Executive Order 11246.
