Radiology - Mammography

Mammography Technologist

Schedule: Weekend availability required (every other Saturday rotation: 08:00–12:00); Call every other Saturday rotation.

Assignment Details: Daily caseload: 30+ studies.

Requirements: Minimum 1 year clinical experience required. Valid state license (must be provided as paper certificate/permit). Certifications: BLS, ARRT (Mammography) and ARRT (Radiography) / CRT (M). Mammography-specific requirements: 40 hours initial mammography training. Documentation of 25 supervised studies. 200 mammograms in the last 24 months. 15 CEUs in mammography in the last 36 months. 8 hours digital/2D and 8 hours 3D mammography training.

Roles & Responsibilities: Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures for various patient age groups. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care. Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient data. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain equipment in working order. Assist with special procedures as needed (e.g., stereotactic biopsy, needle localization).

Compliance / Notes: Must disclose any license/background issues up front; open license hits will not be approved. References: 2 references covering 1 year within last 3 years required. Must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays if required: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day. Pre-start modules averaging 16 hours (non-billable).
