Work Location:

This role is primarily remote, with regular on-site requirements for local WCAB primarily in Oakland, though on occasion in the greater Bay Area, as well as client/team meetings at our Oakland or Concord office.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: $130,000 to $140,000 annually, depending on experience + Benefits and a Very Competitive Bonus Program

Core Responsibilities:

• Oversee and advocate for a complete caseload from intake to resolution
• Foster excellent communication with both the team and clients
• Lead your case management team in delivering exceptional customer service
• Represent the firm at company and community events
• Note: The above list is not exhaustive, and the role may involve other responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 1 up to 3 years as a California applicant or defense attorney, handling all aspects of workers' compensation cases, including depositions, hearings, trials, and appeals
• Licensure: Active California State Bar membership
• Transportation: Valid California driver's license and the willingness to travel, occasionally overnight, to various boards in Northern California

Additional Information:

This role involves extensive interaction with the public and requires adherence to a professional dress code and demeanor. Client interactions are primarily conducted via phone and video meetings, though in-person client meetings are offered.
